La costa

This is a description of an amazing travel to la costa with my family, here you can to enjoy and  to have knowledge about the places that there are, for example, Cartagena, Santa Marta, Barranquilla and La Guajira.

This travel was in 8 January 2010, the motivation for travel was the celebration of my 15 years.
 I travelled with my dad Jorge, my mom Edilma and my sister Paola. We travelled by bus whit a company of trips for 8 days.

We lodge at the hotel Andrea Dorian in Santa Marta, it was a very good hotel, there are Swimming pool, and many places for to practise sports like a tennis and basketball, and the best this hotel is nearly to the beach.

Now i will to show some places:

Santa Marta: Is a tourist place, it has great  variety of beaches like a playa blanca, el rodadero, playa cristal, playa grande.

In these beaches you can to practise aquatic sports, for to go to different beaches you have to go by boat.

Here you can see amazing and big cruises .

Food:

The tipical food here and all the cost is the fish, rice with coconut, patacones and salad.

Cartagena: is also a tourist city, with beautiful beaches and bays,  is a colonial city and famous for the castle of san felipe.

The old city:

This one is an example of the old city where one hides a long history and simultaneously it is one of the principal tourist sites of there where different and important activities are realized and also where there is variety of statues of important prominent figures for Cartagena like Pedro de Heredia who was the  founder.

In honor to one of the bigges poet of the city Luis Carlos Lopez

Barranquilla: It is the fourth city mas populated of the Colombia.

I was there for a few minutes, but i saw places so much interesting, like a the palza of aduana and  the bridge Pumarejo.

La guajira: Maicao and Riohacha

I was in Rancheria where there are a group the indians called Wayúu o guajiros, in La guajira also there are beaches and places interesting. In Maicao there are so much trade the things are more cheap there.
